Zinsser 2301 Gardz Problem Surface Sealer, Clear, 1 Gallon

Zinsser Gardz Problem Surface Sealer is a clear, water-based acrylic resin designed for interior application to porous surfaces prior to painting, texturing, or wallcovering. This versatile sealer solves common problems encountered when preparing walls and ceilings for finishing, ensuring better adhesion and a professional result.

Gardz is formulated to seal and stabilize problem porous surfaces that can cause paint failure, including bare or damaged drywall, plaster, cement and cementitious coatings, spackling paste and joint compound, calcimine, stucco, acoustic and texture finishes, and uncoated wallpaper. It also adheres to and seals in old wallpaper paste and adhesive residue. The water-based formula makes cleanup easy and application straightforward for both DIY and professional use.
